Randy Gaugler, Ph.D.
Class of 1968. Dr. Randy Gaugler earned his Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University in 1972. He went on to North Carolina State University to complete a Master of Science degree. Four years later, Mr. Gaugler earned his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin. Following a stint as Senior Scientist with the New York State Museum, Randy accepted an invitation in 1982 to join Rutgers University. He was recognized as a Fulbright scholar in 2005. In 2006, he began his work investigating disease risk assessment modeling, transgenic mosquitoes bearing a dominant lethal gene, and West Nile virus dynamics and the ecology of invasive species.
