Shannon is part of the class of 1981. Ms. Crawford earned her Associate degree from NDSU Bottineau. In 1986, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Mayville State College with a double major in chemistry and mathematics. She attended NDSU and took numerous graduate courses in the Polymers and Coatings department. Ms. Crawford is ACE-M Accredited from the International Card Manufacturer’s Association. In 2009, along with two of her colleagues, she developed a Process of Laminated Sheet and Product that was later patented #US7544266B2. She is also a volunteer for Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue, has earned a 2nd degree black belt, teaches Aikido, and has adopted three children.
